Director

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Position hours: Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm In-person

Pay Range: Salary: $65,000-------$75,000.

  • The Associate Director partners closely with the Executive Director to shape and implement the organization’s strategy, including oversight of initiatives, operations, and fiscal management. Along with the Executive Director Asst. Director will help monitor current program contracts to ensure compliance, program report(s) completion, and budget implementation. Oversee program budgets.

 

  • Oversee and manage daily operations of the facility. All other related duties assigned by Executive Director.
     

  • Undertake staffing responsibilities (Ability to screen, hire, supervise, terminate employees, training, and evaluating etc.) Implement a performance management process for all staff which includes monitoring the performance of staff on an ongoing basis and providing needed support.
     

  • Support and assist the Executive Director in and at special events and programs. Represent the Executive Director at meetings and functions when assigned by the Executive Director. Attend Board meetings in Executive Director absence.
     

  • Work with internal and external community members to identify opportunities for connection. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external community members.
     

  • Organize, collect, and frequently compose content for the monthly newsletter.

 

Qualifications:

  • Ability to take initiative, use good judgment, deploy creative solutions, problem solve, and think creatively. Must be highly organized and be able to follow through on assigned tasks.

  • Exceptional project management skills and the ability to forecast, track, and complete multiple projects and tasks simultaneously are required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university in a related field; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must possess positive interpersonal skills, computer skills, effective written and oral communication skills, and be self-motivated. Proficient in MS Office, relational databases, and software

  • Must possess human resource experience and knowledge.

  • Must be able to work well with individuals in a fair and friendly manner and have the ability to respond to common inquiries, concerns and complaints from staff, agencies, or members of the community.

  • Ability to organize, implement and manage current and new programs or expand existing programs.

  • Grant writing helpful but not required. Must pass a criminal background check. Driver's License (Required)
